Ichinosaka River-Genji Fireflies

You can see Genji fireflies on the Ichinosaka River, just a 15-minute walk from Yamaguchi station in Yamaguchi city. The Ichinosaka River was designed to resemble the beautiful and renowned Kamogawa river in Kyoto. The river ispicturesque in summer when the fireflies are out and many tourists come to take in this scenic summertime view. In the springtime, Cherry blossoms bloom along the river, making it worth a visit even without the Genji fireflies.
